We repaired the eroded stream that flows through the backyard of a property on Hunting Ridge Road. The project was bundled with the Northbrook Drive Streambank Stabilization project.

Design

The consultant completed the design for the project. The unnamed stream to Mine Creek is eroding in the backyard of a property on Hunting Ridge Road. The erosion is within 10 feet of the foundation of the home, which causes safety concerns. 

Project Goals

  • Use boulders to stabilize 80 feet of the streambank; 
  • Fix the slope of the streambank; and, 
  • Plant on the streambank.
