To protect Raleigh’s residents from flooding, effective and sustainable stormwater management is essential. The Next Comprehensive Plan will address flood resilience in the context of growth and change. By prioritizing the enhancement of reliable stormwater infrastructure and policies, Raleigh will be better equipped to face the challenges of a changing climate.

Stormwater Community Conversation

This Reflecting Raleigh Community Conversation included two nights of presentations and discussion on flood management, climate adaptation, and stormwater priorities, challenges, and opportunities. The featured keynote speaker and state of the city offered residents a platform to learn more about stormwater efforts in the city and share feedback for future improvements.
