As one of the nation's fastest growing cities, change is inevitable. Raleigh's Next Comprehensive Plan will continue to explore how we balance existing neighborhoods with future development. Planning for a city that reflects us all, both current and future residents, will be a key discussion that shapes our city's future.
Community Conversation
Join us for our fifth community conversation centered around neighborhood growth, change, and preservation. The two-part event will feature discussions and presentations from visiting experts and city staff on solutions, opportunities, and challenges related to managing our growth while honoring our roots.
On April 15, join us for a presentation from Alan Mallach, a Senior Fellow with the Center for Community Progress followed by a panel discussion with:
- Yvette Holmes, Southeast Raleigh Promise
- Tiffany Elder, Paradigm Construction
- Dan Levine, Self-Help Credit Union
- Brandy Thompson, Clearscapes
On April 22, come back for a State of the City presentation from Raleigh’s Assistant Planning Director Bynum Walter and share your perspectives through a series of tabletop conversations.
We look forward to seeing you at Rooted and Growing: Neighborhood Change events. Register to attend.
