The music community in the Triangle and across North Carolina is planning concerts to raise funds for hurricane relief efforts. The Music for the Mountains concert at Red Hat Amphitheater is a partnership between Band Together and Lincoln Theatre, in partnership with WRAL, That Station, Red Hat Amphitheater, and Coastal Credit Union. Local musicians and venues are planning events across the state including these events in the Triangle.

In response to the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene on Western North Carolina, Band Together and Lincoln Theatre, in partnership with WRAL, That Station, Red Hat Amphitheater and Coastal Credit Union, is proud to present Music for the Mountains, a benefit concert to raise funds for hurricane relief and disaster recovery on Sunday, Oct. 27 at Red Hat Amphitheater.
Hurricane Helene has left a lasting mark on the region, with homes destroyed, communities displaced, and critical infrastructure in disrepair. All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina, providing essential resources to those in the western part of the state as they begin the long process of recovery and rebuilding.

Saturday, Oct. 26 at 6 p.m.
Presented by Explore Asheville and the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority, “Concert for Carolina” will feature performances from Billy Strings, The Avett Brothers, Eric Church, James Taylor, Luke Combs, Sheryl Crow, and Keith Urban.
This event is sold out but will be livestreamed on Veeps.com. The livestream is free for those in areas affected by Hurricane Helene and $24.99 for others, with an option to add a donation. The event will benefit Chief Cares, Manna Foodbank, Second Harvest Food Bank NWNC, Samaritan’s Purse, and Eblen Charities.
