The Raleigh Yard Waste Center is changing what they will accept from commercial vendors and customers with large yard waste loads. Starting July 1, 2024, the Yard Waste Center will no longer accept:
- Pallet(s)
- Any Commercial load
- Any load larger than a single axle, non-dumping utility trailer measuring 5 feet wide, 8 feet long, and 2 feet deep.
We recommend commercial vendors investigate alternative options for dumping. The Yard Waste Center is restructuring center processes and inventory to enhance essential services provided to the Raleigh community.
The service changes will not affect residential curbside collections, and Solid Waste Service customers with loads smaller than the stated amount can still bring debris to the Yard Waste Center after July 1. All products offered at the Yard Waste Center will remain available for purchase.
