Council authorized the City Manager to facilitate the construction of Fire Station One at 820 S. Salisbury Street, a prime location strategically chosen to optimize operational effectiveness. This location will house two engine companies, one ladder company, and one battalion chief.
Council unanimously approved extending the 2-hour free parking pilot in five City-owned downtown decks through December 31, 2025. Early data from the pilot indicates an approximate 28% increase in hourly vehicles each month.
Council passed a motion to set the time limit for public comment on the second Tuesday of the month to two hours. Start time remains at 7 p.m.
