Nightlife Steering Committee

In 2022, an internal stakeholder group of seven City departments came together to form the Nightlife Steering Committee. This group meets specifically to hear updates on nightlife areas in downtown Raleigh and provide resources and problem-solving for continued issues.

Sociable City Assessment

The City has contracted with Responsible Hospitality Institute (RHI) to conduct an assessment of the nightlife social economy in key areas of downtown. The assessment will include strengths, challenges and opportunities of Glenwood South and Fayetteville Street District. The Nightlife Steering Committee is assisting RHI reps throughout the project.  For more information, visit the project webpage. The final report is expected 2025.
