The Pathways to Public Service program is a six-month, cohort-based initiative designed for college juniors, seniors, and recent graduates interested in gaining hands-on professional experience in municipal government. It is a program under Partnership Raleigh.
Join us in welcoming our second Pathways to Public Service Fellows Cohort!
The City of Raleigh proudly announces the arrival of its second cohort of Pathways to Public Service Fellows. Through hands-on projects, mentorship, and professional development, fellows apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges, fostering invaluable insights into municipal operations.
Following the success of our inaugural cohort, boasting a remarkable 98 percent completion rate and 89 percent of fellows securing positions within City departments or partner organizations, we celebrate stories like Sulayman Ingram's. Formerly a fellow, Sulayman now serves as an Engineering Specialist with Raleigh Stormwater, illustrating the program's capacity to cultivate talent and meet our city’s evolving needs.
Partnering through initiatives Pathways to Public Service reflects Raleigh’s commitment to investing in its future leaders and fostering a vibrant, inclusive community.
