Megan Patton was elected to represent District B on the Raleigh City Council in 2022. She serves on the Safe, Vibrant & Healthy Neighborhoods Committee and the Growth & Natural Resources Committee. She is active in Moms Demand Action and the PTA and works as a customer service manager in the digital space.
Council Member Patton has a B.A. in education from UNC-Chapel Hill. She has worked as an elementary school teacher and factory manager.
Gardening and beekeeping are her passions. Council Member Patton is married and has a young daughter.
