Funding for Nonprofit Arts Programs Available

2025-2026 City of Raleigh Arts Commission's Grant Program

Is your organization:

  • a nonprofit?
  • headquartered in Raleigh?
  • with 501(c)3 tax-exempt status?
  • a creator of an arts program that is meaningful to and
  • supported by the Raleigh community?

If you answered yes to all of the above questions, then you may be eligible to apply for a Raleigh Arts Commission grant through the City of Raleigh.

The City of Raleigh Arts Commission's Grant Program is the official vehicle for municipal support to Raleigh’s arts community. A major example of the City Council's dedication to the cultural development of Raleigh, the program invests in arts programs and events serving the general public by providing grants of up to $15,000 each year to Raleigh-based nonprofit organizations.

The application process for the next round of funding has begun. 2025-2026 Raleigh Arts Commission Grants will help support arts events and programs taking place July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026, and applications are due Monday, Jan. 6, 2025.

To learn more about the Raleigh Arts Commission Grant program and the 2025-2026 application process, be sure to register for one of the Intro to Grant Funding Workshops on either Oct. 30 or Nov. 2. These workshops are free of charge, though pre-registration is required. Note that Raleigh nonprofits that have never received Arts Commission grant funding before and plan to apply for a 2025-2026 grant are required to attend.
