Each of the artists included has a unique approach to their work and demonstrates the vast possibilities of interpreting the documentation of objects within their photography practice.  Block Gallery will host an artist reception featuring the artists on October 10 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Book Signing "This Earthen Door"  Co-authored by Leah Sobsey with Amanda Marchand, published by Datz Press 2024 This Earthen Door is a photographic re-working of American poet Emily Dickinson’s Herbarium, a forgotten book of pressed plants that lives at the intersection of science, poetry, and art.
